One of the key causes of
tuning frustration is string binding at the nut. TREM-NUTS alleviate the
binding grip of the nut on the string and reducing friction between the
nut material and the string. This is accomplished using a nut
manufactured from an engineered resonant base material impregnated with
Teflon. As strings move across a TREM-NUT, they shear open microscopic
“capsules” loaded with millions of “ball bearing” type lubricants. For
strings, it’s like a hardwood floor covered in marbles… strings roll
back into tune. It’s that simple! TREM-NUTs are factory-installed by
many major guitar manufacturers including Carvin, Parker Guitars, Brain
Moore Custom Guitars, Steinberger, and the Fender Custom Shop for good
reason: TREM-NUT will keep your guitar in tune longer than graphite,
bone plastic or synthetic nuts. In addition, a TREM-NUT has crystal
clear tone and sustain.
