The 5000-00 is a perfect option to replace and upgrade the nut in almost all Fender-style electric guitars.

It will work in both a flat bottom or curved bottom nut slot due to its ingenious design, sand off the tab for a curved bottom.

It is pre-slotted to make for a quick and easy install.

One of the key causes
of tuning frustration is string binding at the nut. Black Tusq XL alleviates
the binding grip of the nut on the string and reducing friction between
the nut material and the string. This is accomplished using a nut
manufactured from an engineered resonant base material impregnated with
Teflon. As strings move across a Black Tusq XL nut, they shear open microscopic
“capsules” loaded with millions of “ball bearing” type lubricants. For
strings, it’s like a hardwood floor covered in marbles… strings roll

reason: TREM-NUT will keep your guitar in tune longer than graphite,

clear tone and sustain.
